Senior/Middle Weapon Concept Artist

We are seeking for experienced Senior/Middle Weapon Concept Artist to work on one of the biggest Metaverse projects ever Seedworld. As a Senior Weapon Concept Artist, you will show your expertise and be responsible for creating new weapons or items that Seedworld characters will carry, wear, and interact with in stylized art.


  • Design original, imaginative & highly effective weapon concepts following Seedworld art style.
  • Conduct research on various sources to create and inspire the weapon designs.
  • Know how to tell a story with weapons to enhance their depth and believability within the fictional world.
  • Maintain consistency in design style and visual language, matching the artistic style of Seedworld.
  • Work closely with the Art Department team to explore ideas and develop weapons design of Seedworld.
  • Work with Art Directors, Technical Artists and Game Designers and Developers to understand technical requirements and ensure the pipeline is as efficient as possible.
  • Active participation in technical and artistic discussions and problem solving.
  • Ability to summarize own work, identify problems, and documentation to make internal and outsourcing communication better for the full team.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior artists, sharing expertise and best practices in creature design, and assist training in the department if needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong weapon design portfolio and experience with designing weapons and props in stylized art and at various scope.
  • 5+ years as a weapon concept artist in the gaming industry with at least one AAA game shipped in the last 5 years.
  • 5+ years of experience using Photoshop.
  • In-depth experience with technology, terminology, and techniques of weapon game art development.
  • Portfolio examples that show a strong understanding of traditional art principles including shape language, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Portfolio examples that show experience in stylized material and texture.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Fast, organized, collaborative and able to handle feedback.
  • Good teamwork, strong organizational, communication skills and a fluent level in English along with understanding production values, deadlines and priorities.
  • Eager to learn and apply new working pipeline to optimize production process.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with 3D production from sculpting weapons and props in Zbrush or Blender to texturing.
  • Experience in the other area of expertise as a concept artist.
