Job Opportunity: Product Designer at Tractive
Full-time (4 days, 35h/week)
Location: Linz, Austria
Your territory:
As part of our Product Design team, you will:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic information architecture that supports product scalability and adaptability, ensuring a seamless experience for users navigating complex data and features
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable to millions of pet owners across the globe
- Develop and refine information structures to ensure users can easily find and understand the information they need, enhancing usability and discoverability
- Create user flows and experiences that are simple, elegant, and intuitive, allowing for easy navigation and information discoverability
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, diagrams, mockups, and/or high-fidelity prototypes
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates
- Create great experiences for users through beautifully designed and intuitive user interfaces
- Advocate for design-centered changes, championing improvements that enhance the overall user experience

Your profile:
Key requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong emphasis on Information Architecture and UX
- Proven track record of contributing to complex design projects that have successfully improved product usability and engagement
- Demonstrated expertise in building and refining complex information architectures, including creating taxonomies, navigation structures, and content hierarchies for digital products
- Experience in implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment and applying design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- A strong portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions, showcasing your skills in UX design and information architecture
- Solid understanding of digital products, user behavior, and user research, with a strong ability to translate these insights into actionable design solutions
- Excellent English skills
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, as it facilitates collaboration with developers
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in your design approach, with a passion for exploring new ideas and solutions
