Information about the position

Vinted’s design function contributes to the company’s mission by creating an unmatched user experience. To support this, we’re looking for a Senior Content Designer with at least 6 years' experience in content design roles to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, leading and executing content and content strategy in Vinted’s Trust and Safety domain.

As a senior content designer, you’ll raise the bar when it comes to delivering UI product copy at Vinted, take ownership of the most complex projects, guide stakeholders to resolve challenges, and mentor other content designers. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading projects across multiple areas, and should be familiar with upholding UX writing style, patterns, and tone of voice principles to ensure the highest quality user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic content design heavy initiatives for the Trust and Safety domain, be part of the domain planning process, and actively scope initiatives in need of content design input.
  • Deliver first-rate UI copy, and proactively raise the standard of content design outputs at Vinted.
  • Measure content and keep content debt to a minimum by running audits and resolving debt.
  • Partner with product, design and localisation teams to ensure members’ needs are addressed.
  • Share content design best practices and create reusable frameworks and playbooks that enable a consistent Vinted voice.
  • Lead workshops, hackathons, and other craft-related projects which help alleviate members’ pain points.
  • Offer strategic guidance, mentorship and share best practices of content writing with the content and design team.

About you

  • Strong English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Fluency in other Vinted market languages such as French, German, Spanish or Italian is a plus.
  • A number of years experience in Content Design roles, with a track record in leading impactful content across projects and areas.
  • Expert at leading, upholding, and sharing knowledge of content design best practices.
  • Highly knowledgeable about UX writing, content design practices, and localisation.
  • Experienced in collaborating with stakeholders such as product, brand/marketing, DSA, customer support, policy and legal.
  • Comfortable asking for and giving feedback from cross-departmental stakeholders
